There are two ways to design anything. You can start with the big vision and then proceed to the particular material. Or you can just go straight to design and let your intuition take charge.
Here’s a bit more about the top-down approach:
Phase 01
Discovery
Every project starts with research. We get to know each other (even if it means to go across the country or the other side of Europe), the industry, the real brand challenges and business agendas. At this stage we introduce our clients with the best practitioners of the field and explore how design could help reinvent, optimise or scale the business.
Phase 02
Positioning
It is important to correctly navigate the business in the particular market and determine the territory that it strives to grow into. Taking into account everything we learned in the Discovery phase we develop a strategic brand positioning. It is the foundation upon which to build a strong brand presence, communication strategy and future brand activities that push the industry forward.
Phase 03
Design
Our team is small yet highly equipped, specialising in broad spectrum of design disciplines which allows us to collaborate, innovate and transcend industry standards to raise the bar for our clients. When something is outside of our scope, we bring help from the network of excellent practitioners to form the best team for the job.
Phase 04
Testing & Implementation
The most important stage of any project is the design coming to life and its soft landing from our hands to yours. Together with the internal teams we prototype and test new design in the reality of the every day. By doing so we make sure our efforts have solved the problems instead of creating them.
For us it is also crucial that our design is easy to implement and can be used by people outside of design profession. A variety of methods are in place —weekly check-ups, consultations and even training the team is possible to ensure design investment pays off and is sustainable for the years ahead.
Phase 05
Guidelines
Guidelines are usually the cherry on the cake — coming after we’ve had a good chunk of testing time and the solutions have been tailored to the unexpected.
